SnakeDrafts Support

Drafts in SnakeDrafts are group-based. Here's how it works:

1. First, join a Group (or get invited to one)
2. When a Group Draft is created, all group members are automatically added
3. You'll see the draft on your main screen under the “Live” tab
4. If you have push notifications enabled, you'll receive a notification when the draft starts

No need to accept invitations for each draft—being part of the group means you're in!

Creating a draft is simple:

1. Navigate to the “Create” screen from your dashboard
2. Browse draft topics in different categories like Movies, Sports, Music, etc., or create a custom draft topic
3. Select the topic you want to draft
4. You'll be prompted to select which Group you want to draft with
5. All group members will be automatically added to the draft

All group members will see the draft under “Live” and receive a push notification when it starts.

A snake draft reverses the pick order each round. The initial order is randomized for each draft. For example, with 4 players:

• Round 1: Player 1, 2, 3, 4
• Round 2: Player 4, 3, 2, 1
• Round 3: Player 1, 2, 3, 4

This keeps things fair by giving everyone a chance at early picks.

Creating a group is easy:

1. Navigate to the “Groups” screen from your dashboard
2. Click the “Create Group” button
3. Give your group a name
4. Invite other people to join your group

Groups are the foundation of SnakeDrafts—they make it easy to draft with the same people regularly.

Once all picks are made, drafts are evaluated in multiple ways:

• AI Judging: Our AI analyzes all picks and ranks them based on the draft topic
• Human Judges: You can invite judges to vote on their favorite lists
• Consensus Winner: If there's agreement between AI and human judges, a consensus winner is declared

Valid picks should:

• Be relevant to the draft topic
• Not duplicate another player's pick
• Be appropriate and respectful (no offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content)

SnakeDrafts uses a points-based scoring system:

• 1st place receives points equal to the number of participants
• 2nd place receives one fewer point
• And so on, with last place receiving 1 point
• The player with the highest total points wins

Tiebreaker: If players end up with the same point total, the player who picked latest in the first round among the tied players wins.

To reset your password:

1. Go to the Sign In screen on the app
2. Click “Forgot Password?”
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a reset link
5. Click the link and create a new password

To update your profile:

1. Click on your profile icon in the header of the app screen
2. Select “Settings” from the menu
3. Update your username, display name, or avatar
4. Save your changes

If you're not receiving notifications, try these steps:

1. Check that notifications are enabled for SnakeDrafts in your device settings
2. Ensure you've granted notification permissions when prompted by the app
3. Make sure “Do Not Disturb” is not enabled on your device
4. Try logging out and back in to refresh your notification settings

If the issue persists, contact support with your device model and OS version.

4. Toggle “Allow Notifications” on

On Android:

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Apps & notifications
3. Find and tap SnakeDrafts

Once your draft is complete:

1. Go to the draft results page
2. Click the “Share Results” button
3. Choose your preferred sharing format (image or text)
4. Share via social media, messaging apps, or copy the link

If your share link isn't working:

• Make sure you're copying the full link
• Try generating a new share link from the results page
• Check that the draft is complete (all picks submitted and judging finished)
• Ensure the recipient has the app installed or can access via web

If issues continue, contact support with the draft ID.

If you're experiencing crashes:

1. Force close the app and restart it
2. Check that you have the latest version of the app
3. Restart your device
4. Clear the app cache (if on Android)
5. Uninstall and reinstall the app (your data will be saved)

If crashes persist, email us with your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when it crashed.

Here are solutions to common issues:

• Draft not loading: Check your internet connection and try refreshing
• Can't submit pick: Ensure you're picking during your turn and the pick isn't already taken
• Results not showing: Wait for all players to finish and judging to complete
• Images not loading: Check your connection and app permissions for storage
